Making the cash register ring

It's important to make something clear...

As an entrepreneur, you generate your personal cash flow when something sells.

If you are a baker, sales and marketing ring the cash register.

Hopefully, your bread and pastries are fantastic, but truth be told...

Cash flow is generated when an item is sold

cash flow

So...

It's time for some introspection about the actions you're taking every day.

Because the truth is...

You are either taking actions that will ring the cash register.

Or you're not.

It really is that simple.

And...

Watching webinars, reading sales letters, FOMO'ing into a course based on Guru hype...

None of those things lead to ringing the cash register for you.

To be brutally honest...

That's their way of ringing the cash register as they scam you into their course.

So what can you do today in order to ring the cash register?

If you're an affiliate...

affiliate marketing

Write another optimized post that pre-sells your audience on the best products for their keyword search.

If you haven't mastered pre-selling yet...

This post here teaches you how to write PREselling content

This is the most important skill...

I'd recommend you leverage this AI copywriting tool to speed up the process, too.

That's it for affiliates.

Hundreds of posts targeted to keywords with search volume that presell...

But...

What if you're selling your own products/courses?

selling products

Well, skip the pre-selling and sell your stuff!

Run ads... Create new sales pages and offers... Add on bump offers, upsells, etc.

I use SamCart for all these fancy conversion boosters and they explain their 10-step approach in this video here.

If you have your own products… This is the way.

What if you don't know what to sell? No niche, no audience, no clue...

find a niche

Honestly, the answer is still the same...

Go sell stuff!

Seriously...

Becoming a vendor or a merchant is "the path" if you don't know what else to do.

You can start with the eBay app on your phone which is insanely useful…

Find an old board game, an old watch you don't use, an old backpack, some old sports equipment…

Get that dusty old Nintendo out of the closet and list it!

You may think I'm oversimplifying things...

But it's important to remember that every successful business in the world sell things.

Which means the inverse is true also:

If you aren't selling things...

You aren't on the path.

Therefore the fastest way to get you on the path is to get you selling things.

So...

Look around, what can you sell?

Then...

Version 2.0 of this strategy is to find new things in your area that you can sell on Etsy.

You can find things at the dollar store or Wally World...  Notebooks, packs of 3x5 cards, pens, trinkets, gadgets, etc.

Browse Etsy while in the store and find things that sell for MORE than you can buy them for.

You could create shirt designs on a free system like printful...

Or you could purchase soap loaves, cut them down into bars, add your own label and sell soaps...

Or bath bombs...

It's irrelevant...

The most important part is creating a listing and making an attempt to sell.

This builds the skill.

Because...

Selling is what rings the cash register.

And if you aren't ringing the cash register.

I can go ahead and assume that you're not generating any revenue or cash flow.

Final note for this last approach here.

final thoughts

I know a guy who went into Walmart every week and decided to create one product/offer/funnel around things he could buy at his local WallyWorld...

I believe he worked for about a year launching dozens of new items to the world that he was purchasing locally.

Pretty sure he's gone on to make over $10 million now based on what he learned about sourcing products and selling.

Obviously, he eventually replaced Walmart with a cheaper vendor...

Obviously, he optimized his business after he PROVED what would sell...

But most are waiting to 'see how it all works together before starting'...

Which never works, btw.

Or they are addicted to watching hyped-up gurus making BIG promises about how easy it is.

Ya, that's a bunch of hot air, lol.

Here's the truth:  Successful people just start

Right where they are with what they've got.

Then they persevere long enough to figure it out...

This guy, for example...

He just stepped up and tested, tested, tested...

"Will this ring the cash register?"

Next.

"Will this ring the cash register?"

Next.

He spent a year listing things that didn't ring the cash register...

To eventually find one thing that did work.

Later he found the second thing that worked (to sell to the same audience that bought the first thing).

And so on it went.

It was in a fast or easy path but it did leave him with the cash flow and lifestyle he desired.

That's the goal, right?

To generate the cash flow you need to live the life you desire?

If so...

Now it's your turn to take action.

Even though there are a million questions running through your mind.

I've seen busy moms with four kids figure this out...

I've seen teenagers who didn't have a driver's license yet figure this out...

I've seen students in their 70s figure this out...

Now it's your turn.
